This example mainly introduces three kinds of methods to make the sugar syrup, namely, lab color mode; color stack mode; Brush overlay mode.
This example mainly introduces three kinds of methods to make the sugar syrup, namely, lab color mode; color stack mode; Brush overlay mode.
Lab Color Mode
The lab color mode is represented by two color components A and B, and a clear component L. One of the values from the "green" gradient to "red", B's value from the "blue" gradient to "yellow", combined with the "lightness" of the changes to simulate a variety of colors.
Lab color mode achieves good sugar-tone effect, fast, but blue, and suitable for high-profile white background portrait photo processing, otherwise it will affect the scenery and clothing discoloration, if the use of this method only to the skin part of the production, combined with the overall picture of further processing will achieve more ideal results.
Operation detailed
1. First, open the original photo, as shown in Figure 1-1. Press Ctrl+j to copy the background copy layer and select the image-adjust-mode Lab color command to convert the picture's color mode to lab mode, as shown in Figure 1-2.
Figure 1-1 Figure 1-2
2. Select the "A" channel in the channel panel, press "CTRL + a" all the images in the channel, and press "CTRL + C" to copy. Then select the "B" channel and press "CTRL + V" to paste. After the adjustment, select Lab color mode, you can find that the color of the image has changed, at this time the basic sugar color has come out. As shown in Figure 1-3, figure 1-4, figure 1-5.

3. Because the color of the characters ' lips is yellow after adjusting the lab channel, we can click the "Add Layer Mask" button on the hit Level panel and select the Black Brush tool to smear the character's lips on the mask layer and restore the color of the character's lips to make it appear natural. As shown in Figure 1-6.
Figure 1-6
4. Press the "ctrl+e" shortcut key to merge layers, and then press CTRL+J to copy a new layer, and set the new layer's blending mode to "soft light", do not show the brightness of "20%", so that you can use the color of the characters appear more transparent. As shown in Figure 1-7.

5. To get here, use Lab color mode to generate the sugar syrup skin's Operation method completes, finally transforms the lab color mode image back to the RGB color mode. The final effect is shown in Figure 1-8.

Color through stack mode
Color-through-stack mode is to fill the color of the layer, and change the layer's blending mode, so that the color of the fill after the skin on the characters, so as to achieve the effect of sugar syrup skin.
Color through stack mode than lab color mode, strengths, performance of the effect is also different. Color through the stack mode of adjustment methods in the production speed has a comparative advantage, and can adjust the desired color, but, in the face of the background is too complex picture, the establishment of selection and fill the color becomes a bit difficult. Comprehensive evaluation, the method does not facilitate the selection of complex selection of production, easy to leave traces, in the face of complex background, the method in the establishment of a constituency has some difficulties.
Operation detailed
1. First, open the original photo, as shown in Figure 2-2. Select the Quick Select tool and click the Add to Selection button in the property bar to set the brush value to 20px, as shown in Figure 2-2.
Figure 2-1 Figure 2-2
2. With the quick selection tool, drag on the skin of the character, and when manually, the selection expands outward and automatically finds and follows the edges defined in the image, as shown in Figure 2-3.
Figure 2-3
3. Feather the selection and create a new layer. The feather handling of a selection is important, and the size of the feather directly affects whether the color transition is natural after the fill. Press the Ctrl+alt+d shortcut to set the feather radius to 5 pixels, and then create a new layer that is prepared for the fill color. As shown in Figure 2-4.
Figure 2-4
4. Open the foreground color picker, set the color to "#f29c9f" (You can set the color according to your preferences), and use the shortcut "Alt+delete" to fill the selection with the selected color, as shown in Figure 2-5, figure 2-6.
Figure 2-5 Figure 2-6
5. Set the blending mode of layer 1 to "overlay" so that the filled color is stacked over the person's skin,
As shown in Figure 2-7.
Figure 2-7
6. And then set the layer's opacity to "30%", reduce the color overlay resulting in excessive color, so that the color of the fill of better penetration of the original color of the characters, so that the photo looks more real. As shown in Figure 2-8.
Figure 2-8
7. Finally, in the menu bar, select Image-Adjust-hue/saturation command, set hue value of "20", saturation value of "30", lightness value is "30",
As shown in Figure 2-9.

The operation method of producing sugar-water skin by color-superposition mode is completed, and the adjusted image is natural and fresh. The final effect is shown in Figure 2-10

Brush Overlay Mode
Brush overlay mode is the most convenient way to achieve the skin sugar syrup, as long as the brush pattern set correctly, will choose the color of the painting on the skin can be completed adjustment. and flexibility, skin color settings easy to control. Note that brush overlay is not easy to repeat smear, otherwise it will cause uneven color block. In addition, in the process of folding is easy to cover the outside of the range, interference with other colors affect the image effect. So be careful when smearing.
Operation detailed
1. First, open the original photo, as shown in Figure 3-1. Select the Brush tool, set the tip size in the property bar, the opacity value is 50%, and the traffic value is 100%, as shown in Figure 3-2.
Figure 3-1 Figure 3-2
2. Open the foreground Color Color Picker dialog box and set the color to #f2b09c, as shown in Figure 3-3.
Figure 3-3
3. Open the channel panel, select the "Blue" channel, and then use the "brush tool" to evenly smear the skin position of the character to overlay the set color on the face and arms of the person and on the exposed skin.
4. Finally, the color of the excess parts is restored. Select the history Brush tool. In the property bar, set the mode to normal, the opacity value is 50%, the traffic value is 100%, and then smear the extra area covered by the brush overlay, and make it revert as shown in Figure 3-4.
