The effect chart is made of 3D tools in PS, just the idea of making a little more complex, need to break down into several layers of text, such as strokes, entities, glass decoration, and so on, and then use the 3D tool layer to the desired stereo effect, and then the overall rendering color and adjust the details, etc., to make their favorite effect.
Final effect
1, create a new document, the size of 1500*1250 pixels, fill the background color of # DBDBDB.
2, create the text layer, the letter to all uppercase, font color set to # 6d6d6d, font for sans serif exb flf, size set to 370 pt. Set line spacing to 200pt, kerning between characters is set to visual, and the selected font kerning is set to 50.
3, in the type layer (stay cool), right-click, choose to convert to a shape, the text layer into a shape layer.
4, select the Path Selection tool, then click the first letter, select it, drag it (or use the arrow keys) to the following location.
5, follow the same steps to drag all the letters to the document where you like.
6. Copy the text shape layer and rename the copy to Stroke (Stoke).
7, using the Path selection tool selected text, in the toolbar, change the fill to a solid color, stroke width of 5 pt. Then click the icon to set the shape stroke type, set the stroke alignment type to the outside (figure), and then click More Options button.
8, change the other option settings as shown below.
9, select the Rounded Rectangle tool to ensure that the shape of the selection is still. In the options bar, set the RADIUS to 1 and click the > Geometry option icon to select a fixed size option, set the width to 90 and the height to 10.
Create a new layer on top of the stroke layer, called the Glass Layer (Glass). Click and drag out a rounded rectangle so that the rectangle is just below the stroke border.
10. Fill in a darker color for this rounded rectangle shape, and click the > Merge Shape icon button in the options bar.
11. Add the same rounded rectangle to the remaining letters.
12, after the completion, copy the original text shape layer, to the duplicate layer renamed to stay cool back.
13. Do the following for each shape layer: Select it and select 3d> to create a new 3D bulge from the selected layer. Converts these shape layers to 3D.
14, copy the background Layer two times, drag the two duplicate layers to the top of the layer board, rename the wall (wall) and the ground (ground).
15. For each of the layers in step 2, select it, and then select 3d> to create a new grid > postcard from the layer.
16, into the 3D settings and property interface, you need to open two panels, namely: 3D Panels and Properties panel (both can be found in the Window menu). The 3D panel contains all the components in the scene. You can enter the settings interface of the property panel, regardless of which component you click. 21. Select the original text stay cool, click the Cover icon button in the Properties panel, select the edge as the front, then the oblique width to 10, the contour is rolling slope-diminishing, the expansion angle is-45.
22, for stay cool back grid, click the lid button, the edge is set to reverse, change the oblique width of 10, the contour for rolling slopes-diminishing, expansion angle of 45.
23, choose the name of the stock deformation, set its protruding depth of 150.
24, then change its oblique width of 10, contour of semicircle.
25, select the glass (glass), select the Deformation button, set the protrusion depth of 481.
26, oblique width of 10.
27, the last pair of wall grid, check the elimination shadow box.
28, for the original text (stay cool) grid selection before expansion material. Then click the Diffuse texture icon and select Delete texture. Perform the same operation on other materials.
