Photoshop quickly change color for beautiful hair

The color of the author's method is also relatively simple, the process: first of all, using tools to select the hair area, and then use the Palette tool to change the color, brightness and so on, and finally strengthen the highlight and the dark part can be.

1. Open the picture you need to work with in Photoshop and make some necessary corrections.

2, then select the Quick Selection tool in the toolbar, and then roughly select the hair area. At this point, it's hard to make the selection perfect, but we have to pick as many hairs as we can.

3. Once you have done your hair selection, click the Adjust Edge button at the top of the screen. Then select the overlap in preview mode and turn on the smart radius to detect the edge of the hair. Select a medium-sized brush here, and then make sure that the area you want is already selected.

4, once you are satisfied with the existing mask, you can select the output in the dialog box at the bottom. Then create an optional color adjustment layer.

5. Select the semi-circular icon on the color layer in the Layers panel and click it to eject the property panel. Make sure that the color drop down menu is set to red and slide the cyan, magenta, and yellow sliders to the left until you get a lighter warm color hue.

6. Next, we need to switch the Pull-down menu to a neutral color. Here, you can do any fine-tuning on the Cyan slider to get warmer hair tones.

7. Here, we need to add a curve adjustment layer from the adjustment panel, hold down the ALT key and click the line to adjust the clip point between the two layers. This means that we have added another mask.

8, in the Curve Adjustment Layer Properties panel, select RGB in the Drop-down menu, and click two times on the white line to create a curve as shown in the figure. Drag the curve to create a similar curve as shown in the figure. This will help us to create dark tones of hair.

9. Now, select the red Channel from the Drop-down menu and repeat step eighth to create the same tonal curve. Switch back to the RGB channel as needed to see if you need to make some minor adjustments.

10. At this point, the hair should look a bit dreamy and bronzed by now, and we can make further adjustments in the next steps.

11. Click on the Hue/saturation icon in the adjustment panel, then hold down the ALT key on the line between hue/saturation, curve adjustment layer, and then click on the underlying mask layer icon.

12, in order to make the hue/saturation effect better, go to the property panel to turn the mask into red, and slide the Hue slider until you get a warm orange hue. Move the saturation slider to the left to-35, reducing some saturation to provide a better realistic hue.

13. Once you are satisfied with your hair, you can choose the color layer on the original hair mask, and use the soft black brush to remove the extra parts of the tonal change, such as the shadow of the hair, and so on.

14. Finally, we need to bring some natural luster to our hair. Create a new blank layer and smear it in the hair area with a white brush. Double-click the layer to open the Layer style properties panel.

15, change the blending mode to soft light, and adjust the opacity to 70%. At the bottom of the panel, drag the Black slider to 100 on the bottom. Hold down the ALT key and drag the slider to 200. When you are satisfied with the results, you can click OK.

16, the results should be shown in the following figure.

17. Similarly, we can convert hair color to red or purple in PS. At this point, it is very likely that the hair color into copper red or unnatural purple. Click on the Hue/saturation adjustment layer to make sure you are in a red channel (not a mask) and move the Hue slider to get a more natural hue.

18, it looks like your hair is already purple. Of course, it may seem a bit extreme and unnatural, but it's quite commensurate with the purple flowers on the model's hair.

19, in Photoshop, we can easily change the color of hair. At present, this method is very popular in post revision of PS. Overall, the use of the PS technique is mainly focused on the hue/Saturation adjustment layer, curve adjustment layer on the two points. Of course, in order to make hair color look more natural, we need to be patient debugging.
