Picture synthesis The Birth of life

1. Open an opening shell picture (Figure 1). Open a picture of a lotus pond again (Figure 2). Drag pictures of Lotus Pond into the file of Shell pictures.

2. Executive menu-edit-free transform, the lotus picture horizontally scaled to the size of the appropriate shell, the lotus layer hidden, using the Pen tool, along the shell openings in the interior outline of the path (Figure 3).

4. Select the Deepen tool, adjust the stroke size appropriately, set the properties of the burn tool to intermediate, and the luminosity to about 30%. Along the upper part of the remaining Lotus image, the color of the upper part of the image is deepened so that the treated Lotus pond looks layered, as if it were inside the shell, and the deepened portion is equivalent to the shadow of the upper half of the shell covering the Lotus pool (Fig 5).

　　

5. Go back to the previous open second picture, that is, the Lotus pool picture, with the pen tool will be below that a larger and clearer lotus outline (Figure 6). After converting the outlined path to a selection, the Lotus copy is pasted into the shell's image file and placed at the top of the layer.

The stem part of the Lotus dialect, which is selected with the Rectangular marquee tool box, press and hold Ctrl+alt+shift to drag the selected portion of the box vertically downward, connecting the part of the dragged copy with the stem of the lotus itself, and dragging several more copies, while ensuring that the dragged part is connected to the stem part of the previously dragged copy. 8. 11. Execute menu-edit-transform-horizontal flip, then move the lotus image to the large recess of the shell and execute menu-edit-free transform, hold down CTRL and drag the nodes on the four corners of the transformation box, so that the Lotus shape can be better combined with the groove of the shell (Figure 15).

　　

12. Use the Pen tool to outline the part of the Lotus that is outside the shell along the contour of the shell (Figure 16), convert the path to a selection after completion, and delete the selected section (Figure 17).

　　
　　

13. Use the burn tool to set the same settings as the previous use of the Burn tool, and to reduce the stroke size appropriately, apply a slightly darker color at the bottom of the petals below the lotus to make the dark side of the petals bottom. Back to the shell layer, the same with the deepening tool, the edge of the shell and lotus petals at the bottom of the combination to do smear treatment, deepen the color, to express the lotus petals projection (Fig 18).

　　

14. Back to the original paste the lotus words of the layer, press and hold Ctrl+alt drag Lotus image, copy a few, and adjust the shape and size of the free transformation, and placed in a different position, and then more than the shell mouth part of the lotus stem to remove the selection. 16. Back to Shell file, with magic Wand tool, click on the background layer in the black area around the shell, and then execute the menu-select-Reverse, the selection will be selected back to select, and then copy and paste the chosen shells. Drag the gravel picture to the shell file and place it above the background layer (Figure 21).

　　

17. Press and hold Ctrl+alt+shift horizontal drag gravel image, will sand image copy, execute menu-edit-transform-horizontal flip, and will copy the gravel image moved to the right position, is the two gravel image on the bright part of the good convergence. 19. Use the burn tool to set the same setting as the previous use, and apply a little deeper on the gravel. The deeper position is at the bottom of the shell. This is the shadow that casts the shell onto the surface of the gravel (Fig. 24).

　　

20. Well, the shadow is done, and the picture is done. Finally, you can use the curve command to light up the color of the shell slightly, and then use a deeper tool on the bottom edge of the shell to do a little deeper treatment, so that the shell can be combined with gravel more harmonious. can also be used ctrl+u or ctrl+b the color of the shell to make adjustments, the specific adjustment of the color depends on your preferences, here will not say.
