pipedata3d User Guide
1. Introduction
In the pipeline design process, will use a lot of standards, such as asme,din,gb,cb,hg,sh and so on. Piping designers in the design process, the need to read the relevant standards manual, find the required data, more cumbersome. If the data of the relevant fittings can be displayed visually, the design efficiency of the piping designers can be greatly improved.
Pipedata3d by the standard data in tabular and three-dimensional model of the way to display, more visual and intuitive, in the convenience of the design staff to query data at the same time, increased a little interest, improve design efficiency.
Pipedata3d operation is simple, and can be customized standard data, easy to expand, with the following characteristics:
V Three-dimensional model display parts and dimensioning, very intuitive;
V Standard data extension is convenient, using TCL script implementation;
V standard data will be shared on the Internet;
The program PIPEDATA3D and standard data will be unified into the cloud disk on the Internet, for:

Download the standard data Tcl script that uses PIPEDATA3D and contribute customizations, and use the PIPEDATA3D feature to be more complete. Any comments, suggestions can contact the author:[email protected]
2.Run Pipedata3d
After downloading Pipedata3d, extract to a directory that contains no spaces and Chinese, run the file Pipedata3d.bat to start the program Pipedata3d instead of running Pipedata3d.exe directly. It is important to note that:
V Pipedata3d cannot have spaces in the path where the program is located;
V Pipedata3d cannot have Chinese in the path where the program is located;
The start of the V PIPEDATA3D program uses batch processing to configure some environment variables, so run Pipedata3d.bat to start the program.
After the program starts, the interface appears as shown:
Figure 2.1 Main GUI of Pipedata3d
By selecting the appropriate standard part in the standard tree on the left side of the Pipedata3d interface, a three-dimensional model and dimensioning of the corresponding part will be displayed in the 3D view, and the corresponding dimension and dimension values will be listed in the list on the right.

3.3D View Options
Three-dimensional view there are some interactive operations, such as zooming, panning, and rotation to facilitate the viewing of three-dimensional models, these interactions are mainly by dragging the mouse to achieve.

Three-dimensional view operation method:
V: Scale The three-dimensional view;
V: Rotating three-dimensional view;
V: Panning The three-dimensional view;
There are also some shortcut keys:
V F: scale all models;
V D: Resets the three-dimensional view;
V W: wireframe mode;
V S: Rendering mode;
4.Customisation issues
The standard data is in the folder Stdlib, as shown in:
Figure 4.1 Standard Library Data
Each folder in the folder Stdlib corresponds to a standard, then the subfolder is the type in the standard, and finally the Tcl script for modeling and display.
So every new standard data is added, just add a folder, or copy the standard data downloaded from the Web to the Stdlib folder.
5. Feedback and Support
