Portrait decoration • Clear Spots

Based on the fact that people's bodies are not perfect, our goal is to make the people in the picture look as beautiful as they are in real life. This is often a daunting task, but fortunately, professional photo decorators can use a variety of techniques to decorate portraits. Here you will learn these portrait-grooming tips for professionals.

How do I remove spots? When it comes to removing scars, acne, or any other blemishes on the skin, our goal is to keep as much of the original skin texture as possible. Therefore, the adornment cannot be too obvious. Here are 3 techniques we have been using very well, after mastering these techniques, if a method does not have an ideal cosmetic effect, you can try the second or third method.

Method One: Clone Stamp tool

First step:

Please open a photo with a skin defect that you want to eliminate (in this case, we have to remove the birthmark on the left cheek).

Step Two:

Press the letter S to select the Clone Stamp tool from the toolbox. In the Options bar, click the thumbnail on the right side of the brush text and select the soft corner brush from the brush selector to a slightly larger size than the mole you want to remove, and you can use the main diameter slider at the top of the brush selector to resize the brush. When you work, if you need to quickly resize the brush, you can use the Bracket key on your keyboard, the left bracket key makes the brush smaller, and the right bracket key makes the brush larger.

Step Three:

Modifies the mode Drop-down list of the clone Stamp tool in the options bar to lighten. When the mode is set to bright, the clone stamp will only affect pixels darker than the sample area, and the pixels that are brighter than the sample area (normal skin tone) remain unchanged, and only darker pixels (moles) will be affected.

Fourth Step:

Find a clean skin around the mole (no visible spots, blemishes, etc.), hold down the A L-t key (Mac:option key) and hold it, click one mouse, which will sample from the area. Be sure to sample the area near the mole, which will make the skin tone match. If the sampling area is too far away, it may result in a different color, which is a big taboo in the fix.

Fifth Step:

Now move the cursor directly to the mole and click once. Do not depict, just click! This click will immediately eliminate the mole, while retaining the skin texture unchanged. But what if a mole is lighter than the skin (rather than deeper)? Just change the pattern to darken, not brighten, it's as simple as that.

Method Two: Stain healing brushes

First step:

You can also quickly and effectively eliminate moles using the stain healing brush tool (Note: I am referring to the "stain" healing brush tool, which is described in the following example as the common healing Brush tool, which is better suited for large areas). Therefore, press J to select the tool from the Toolbox.

Step Two:

As with the Clone Stamp tool, the key point to remember when patching a mole with the stain healing brush tool is that the selected brush is slightly larger than the mole that will be eliminated. In the Options bar, click the thumbnail to the right of the brush text, and select the brush size you want with the main diameter slider (note: By default, the stain healing brush is a sharp angle). However, unlike the clone stamp tool, you do not need a sampling area before clicking, and it disappears as soon as you click on the mole, so start clicking (i click here on all the visible moles on her face and neck).

Method Three: Lasso tool

First step:

Press L to switch to lasso tool and find a clean area near the mole you want to remove (no mole, spots, etc.). In this case, remove a small mole on her right cheek. In this clean area, create a selection with the Lasso tool, which should be slightly larger than the mole.

Step Two:

After you create a selection, select Feather from the selection menu. After the feather dialog opens, enter 1 pixels in the feather radius, then click OK. Feathering blurs the edges of the selected area, which helps mask the decorations we do. Feather (soft) selection edges are an important part of facial modification, and we often do so to cover cosmetic traces.

Step Three:

Now that we've softened the selection edges, hold down the Alt-ctrl (Mac:option-command) key, and you'll notice that the cursor changes to a double-headed arrow, overlapping a black arrow above the white arrow, which tells you to start copying the selected area. Please click inside the selection and drag the clean skin area onto the mole to cover it completely.

Fourth Step:

When the clean area covers the mole, release the key (including the mouse button, of course) and press ctrl-d (mac:command-d) to deselect it. As you can see, the mole has been removed. Most importantly, because we are dragging the skin from a nearby area, the whole skin texture is completely unchanged, which makes it almost impossible to recognize the modifications we make.
