PowerDesigner Generating SQL scripts

1. Open Powerdesigner->new Project;

2. Fill in the project name, select the file's storage path;

3. Create a new model;

4. Select the conceptual model and fill in the model name;

5. Select entity to create a solid model;

6. Click on the model diagram, fill in the table structure information;

For cases where the same field appears during creation:

7. After the table structure is created, make the association between the tables, click Relationship to associate the table directly with the table;

Select the relationship between tables and tables;

8. Generate a physical model diagram;

Select database type

The software will automatically generate foreign keys, intermediate tables, etc.;

9. Click on the generated physical model and select Generate database in database to generate SQL script;

For the method of the field quotation marks in the SQL file:

Click on the physical model and select Database->edit current DBMS;

Change the yes to No to regenerate the SQL file;

10. Import the generated SQL script into the corresponding database management software and run it.
