1. modify the ENGINE (storage ENGINE) type of a single table (1) select one of the created PowerDesigner tables. The premise is that this table has been selected as a database of Mysql50. (2) right-click "attribute", (3) Select "PhsicalOption", double-click "type" (ISAM 1), and modify the ENGINE (storage ENGINE) type of a single table.
(1) select one of the created PowerDesigner tables. The premise is that this table has been selected as a database of Mysql5.0.
(2) right-click the "--" attribute,
(3) Select Phsical Option -- double-click type = (ISAM) because PowerDesigner uses the ISAM storage engine by default. In this way, type = (ISAM) will appear in the box on the right. Select type = (ISAM) on the right. The type = drop-down list is displayed. Select the storage engine you want from the drop-down list.
In the above operations, you can modify the Mysql database storage engine to adapt to the storage engine you want to use.
Note: We can see that PowerDesigner can not only set the storage engine, but also many other operations that are worth discovering and learning (marked with a blue box in the figure ).
2. database ENGINE (storage ENGINE) modification.
(1) select Databases --> Default Physical Options.
(2) the preceding operations are the same as those of the table. So I will not repeat it here.
Note: Because it is currently a database-level operation, if you want to operate multiple tables at the same time, you can select Apply to in the lower left corner (marked in the second figure ).
