PowerPoint how to make chapter slides

Next we're going to create the chapter slides.

First, create a new blank slide and rename it to "training purposes." Also, use the buttons on the Insert tab to insert text and graphics and format them. Then switch to the Animation tab, select the objects on the slide, select the animation effect you want at the go to animation, and set the animation orientation in the effect options.

After you set an animation effect on an element, if other elements want to use the same effect, you can use the animation brush to brush the other elements after you select the element, which is similar to the operation in PPT (Figure 3).

Next, drag the mouse over the left and right side of each element's timeline, and adjust the playback start and end times of the elements so that the content on the slide is displayed in chronological order (Figure 4).

Small tip:

Sometimes you don't want them to appear automatically when you play the slide content, but you want to use the mouse to click it to appear. To achieve this effect, you need the timeline and trigger to work together. First, on the timeline where you want to play the stop, right-click and select Create Cue point at the playhead. Then create a new trigger, set the action to pause timeline, Timeline is this slide, time is on timeline, select Cue Point, 1th, and the pause at other cue points is set, which enables the time when the axis plays to the cue point and pauses the playback. Next, you can create a new trigger, set the actions to restore timeline, timeline to this slide, time to user click, and object to Group1. This enables you to continue the playback of the timeline when you click the Group logo (that is, Group1) on the slide (Figure 5).

The inserts and settings for other chapter slides are similar to the above, and are not discussed here.
