Precautions for assert aseequal

Source: Internet
Author: User

In unit testing, assert's areequal function, http://technet.microsoft.com/zh-cn/magazine/ms243413 (vs.100). aspx, says:

1. Verify that the specified two objects are equal. If the two objects are not equal, the assertion fails.

2. Note: If the logical values are equal, different numerical values are considered equal. However, this does not apply when you directly convert different numeric types to objects.

For example:

1. Assert. areequal (42, 42l );

Assertions are true.

2. Assert. areequal (object) 42, (object) 42l );

Assertion failed.

3. Assert. areequal (42, (object) 42l );

Assertion failed.

4. Assert. areequal (object) 42, 42l );

Assertion failed.
