Pay attention to the following points when using large current:
Note that when the PCB is drawn, the bypass capacitor connected to the power input and the bat output end must be close to the chip.
Input Power Supply voltage. It is recommended that the no-load voltage be between 4.7 and V. Considering that the average adapter and huoniu output are both 5-5.5 V, the customer can reduce the pressure by concatenating the tocker at the chip power input end, or using a Power Resistance of about 0.5 ohm. As long as the actual chip voltage reaches 4.7-4.9, the chip's thermal power loss can be minimized, so as not to prevent the chip from overheating temperature protection and reduce the charging current.
The sop8 chip is encapsulated with a heat sink. Please connect the heat sink with the PCB Board. The heat sink can be grounded or be suspended. Other potentials cannot be connected. The heat dissipation of copper on a large scale is better, especially the heat dissipation without Solder Mask.
Test Description:
The customer can use a battery with a large capacity to test the charging current, and the connection is good (note that the wires should not be too long or too small ). The typical voltage of the battery is controlled at around 3.7v. The current value is recommended to be read directly from the input adjustable power supply. If you need to access the current meter reading, be sure to connect to the chip power input port. Cannot be connected to the battery end.
