Nowadays, many enterprises are very concerned about the application of project management, hoping to manage enterprises with the same knowledge of application project management. However, these results further strengthen my decision to change the situation. I took the initiative to apply for the second project and thanked the boss for agreeing. At that time, I was very grateful. Then I began to adopt a series of reforms. First, I had to clarify the company's structure, objectives, and management system again, then I sorted out the project's organizational structure and set up a team, introduce project performance and IT project team performance appraisal, team training plan, etc. Through these measures, our project member satisfaction has increased significantly. In my current project, I am basically idle. I just spot check projects from time to time. At the end of the quarter, I will check my team and occasionally have a chat with the customer about the project. In a word from the assistant, it seems like it is getting better!

In fact, it project management needs to be constantly updated to enrich the concept. Without these new concepts, project managers can manage IT projects. Instead, project managers can rely solely on their knowledge, there cannot be any innovative aspects of the project, most of which are the follow of the original project, so there is no challenge for our IT project manager! Some new practical ideas can also help the project manager to integrate IT systems and control some key management measures, such as common risk management, requirement management, and document management. 1. Announce your project expectations

The project is to achieve the project goal and support the company goal. Team values

What are your values? The value determines the work behavior, effort, attitude, value orientation, morality, and sense of responsibility of the IT project team. Only when these concepts or concepts are recognized by everyone in the team can the IT project really start.

How do you control and measure the project progress? Each person in the team has a scale in mind. The IT project manager wants to unify these hidden scales, but everyone knows. The key to ensuring orderly project implementation and control.

How do you convince others of your expectations and management measures? This is not only within the team, but more importantly, it is necessary to communicate with your superiors and customers so that they can understand your views and requirements and expectations for the project. This is the source to ensure project resources.

Clear strategy

Which path does your project take? Most IT projects follow the company's development strategy. To achieve success in this regard, the support of superiors is indispensable. You cannot take it for granted. With the support of your superiors, you must let each team member know where they are and where the project is going.

2. Carefully manage your projects

This is because many IT project managers know this but cannot. This problem exists in the example I mentioned above. Management by heart is not really a task that allows you to manage your resources. Instead, you should pay attention to all the things that happen in your project and promptly identify those that are advantageous and harmful. At the same time, it is worth mentioning that the development mechanism of the Project is also generated here. The IT project manager is the leader of the team. As a leader, motivation is indispensable. In fact, in the project team, incentives must be associated with rewards or rewards. The effectiveness of incentives should be guaranteed by rewards and rewards. Otherwise, it can only be a short-lived incentive with no efficiency or effect. Therefore, we must pay attention to the combination of the two in practice. In terms of the most common internal training, if appropriate rewards and rewards are not provided, it is simply a dream to encourage everyone to give their knowledge and experience selflessly. Of course, if it is mandatory, it should be another matter. But the effect cannot be good.

4. Be aware of the makeup

I often think about this problem at work, because there may be people in the project team who have something urgent to handle or get sick from time to time. If this person is the main force of the project team and his work is on a critical path, this vacancy will affect the project, what's worse is that if it project managers cannot find someone to replace it, it will be more troublesome. There is no way to deal with such things once and for all, but we can use some methods to reduce the uncertainty caused by these factors. 6. Educate and train your assistant

Like I am not very competent, so I have always wanted to push some important things to the assistant, but before pushing them to him, I must see that he is not suitable and not suitable, give him education and training. If it is not suitable, change the assistant! So my point is that IT project managers must find someone who can replace you as an assistant, educate and train them, and ultimately assign them the right and responsibility.

7. Remember to train you

Training can make your team more combiner and facilitate the flow of information within the team. I don't want to talk about this much. We need to decide how to do it according to the specific form of the project team. However, it is important to note that, even if it is a team of all the IT elites in the world, they cannot accept training. On the one hand, they must improve themselves, and on the other hand, the team should stay ahead. Therefore, training is essential!

8. handle the relationship with superiors

Finally, let's talk about the relationship with the boss. This involves a bit of corporate politics, but since it is corporate politics, everyone in the company can't escape, only care and don't care. The IT project manager is appointed by the supervisor, who thinks that you have the ability to appoint you. In other words, it project managers have to sell their jobs to their superiors. I have been familiar with many IT project management projects. Some of them are poor in ability, but companies still reuse them. Some of them are strong in ability, but companies regard him as mediocre. This is the political issue of the company. When you are working on a project, the IT project manager must always remind himself that everything you do is provided by your boss. If you want to withdraw it, God will not help you! Therefore, we only remind you to pay attention to your superiors while focusing on projects.
