Problems with Hadoop configuration Hosts file

In a previous blog, wrote that my Python script does not work, and later was modified Hosts file, today, a colleague again explained the next problem, found that the understanding before error.
Another way to introduce this is to add all the host names and IP addresses to the hosts file for each machine.
For Linux systems, modify/etc/hosts files, all machines in all Hadoop environments add machine names and IP addresses, as follows:
10.200.187.77 Master
10.200.187.78 slave1
10.200.187.79 Slave2
10.200.187.80 Slave3
10.200.187.54 Slave4

corresponding to the window system, modify the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc directory, the content ibid.

But the individual also believes that if the machine in the Hadoop environment to rise to thousands of units, this configuration is cumbersome.
