When I see the word "right", my heart is filled with emotion.

As a project manager, if there is no right, it is like a prostitute. Customers, bosses, superiors, and so on have to pose in whatever way, even TMD's right to resist. Obviously, it is very painful, but the mouth is still a burst of waves.

When you see the above, don't think that the person who said this is an official fan. If you want to be so powerful, you will be addicted to it! Brother and sister are not actually!

The understanding of rights includes, of course, the ability to hold people at the level of government, but here more is the understanding of rights:

For project managers, right is actually more of a responsibility! Is the guarantee to achieve the project goal!

1. Rights are duties

A dumb lead won't ask the 90 s that just entered the company and was engaged in code writing, "how is the project progress? It cannot be launched yet ", he will ask the project manager. Because one of the responsibilities of the project manager is to ensure that the project progress is carried out as planned. If the project manager wants to know the progress and quality of the project, he will ask the test Manager. Why? Because these two roles have such responsibilities. At the same time, we can see that these two roles also use the corresponding rights. It can be seen that rights have a symbiotic relationship with responsibilities, and that there is much responsibility for rights. To assume more responsibilities, you need to have more rights.

An American Blockbuster says the general idea is "How much capacity is there, how much responsibility is there ".

In fact, it is not "how much responsibility is required, how much right is required ".

Ii. rights are the guarantee for achieving the goal

Who said that right is the guarantee for achieving the goal? I just wrote the code, where do I have the right? But I have completed all the tasks assigned to me. Yes. In this case, most rights may not be required. However, the project manager has no right, and it is absolutely impossible to expect him to ensure the normal operation of the project.

If there is clearly a person in the project who ignores the company record and has a bad mouse, but the project manager has no right to drive him away, What do other people think ?! Will other members work hard? If the leader has set the time, cost, quality, and progress for the project manager, the Project Manager can only jump to the building when there is a huge demand change! For outstanding team members who cannot praise or raise their salaries, why should they continue to work hard ?!

If the responsibility is far greater than the right, the project manager is expected to fulfill his/her responsibilities!

Early navigators, such as Columbus, need to accurately calculate the food, medicines, fresh water, clothes, etc. carried on the ship according to the objectives of this voyage. Otherwise, they will not reach the goal of fresh water, drinking sea water. Similarly, various stakeholders in a project (direct superiors of customers, bosses, bosses, project managers, and project managers) as well as various roles in the project team (testers, developers, team leaders, and configuration management personnel), these different personnel and items on the ship of the haihang family share their own values, each sample requires an appropriate component, which is equivalent to the right mentioned here. The rights of all roles and personnel must be consistent and shall not be too different. Otherwise, the project objectives will be as distant as those of a mirage.

If the rights and responsibilities of a Project do not match, the following situations may occur:

I. Don't work hard

For example, the test plan should be prepared by the test team lead or test Manager. As a result, the project manager is working on behalf of the test team, the test team will feel that they are not valued, and the lead will doubt their abilities, he will not want to work hard in the future.

2. Do not want to work

The mouse is a cat thing, but the dog often catches the mouse, so the cat thinks you're doing well, just grab it! I went to bed.

3. Busy

This busy person is not busy, so busy things are not busy; people who are not busy are busy, they want to be busy but cannot be busy, a serious waste!

4. Project Failure

Unclear rights, mismatched sizes, and unclear responsibilities will inevitably lead to scattered hearts and projects!
