The author's expressive force is very good, the whole picture only uses a crow and some feather composition, although the content is few but the visual effect is quite good.
The author's expressive force is very good, the whole picture only uses a crow and some feather composition, although the content is few but the visual effect is quite good. In particular, color black and white effect is very artistic. Some of the material in the tutorial needs to be downloaded online.

1, first open a new file. I use a large file with 300 pixels. So I can print it out later. Now let's introduce texture 1.
2, reduce the saturation of the texture, and then double-click the layer into the mixed options panel. Here you need to set the pattern to overlay, the transparency is 80%, the gradient is white to black, and the ratio is 129%.
3, the introduction of texture 2, only from the texture of the extraction of cracks. Reduce the saturation of the layer and erase the unwanted parts with the eraser tool (E).
4. Cut out the crow from the image and import it into your document. Next, look at your image and think about how you will change it and whether you need to keep the original image. Now, to make it look better, subtract the "Crow" layer, reduce the saturation, and then set the layer to multiply, slightly reducing some opacity.
5, duplicate the layer again. As before, set the layer to multiply and the transparency to 40%. Again, you need to add some shadow and glow to the image, using the Burn and Dodge Tool (O).
6, now we have completed the first step of the Crow's editor. Now merge all the crow layers. Then create another set of layers at the top, and the next round of edits will be applied here. The crow has begun to take shape, but we need to make it look better. Copy Step 5 The last one you created the crow layer to deepen the crow. Now let's go back to its blue eyes. Create a mask on the crow layer, as long as the duplicate layer is duplicated, and the brush is applied to the black area of the eye to show its color. You can also choose and use some color settings to make them look more prominent.
7, we are almost ready for the crow we need, now start adding some brushes. Create a new group underneath the Crow. In this group, each brush group is one layer. So you can put each group in a different place according to the situation, refer to the following figure
8, in this step, to continuously increase the feathers, but this time you need to extract from the image provided by the feather. Open the image of the feather you want to extract and choose > Color Range. Use the Red Eye tool to select the color you want. Sometimes the result is a mess, but you have to try and choose the feather shape you want. Reverse-Select and copy it. As you can see in the figure below, I've used it two times to cover it with a blockbuster.
9, after the Crow continue to add more feather brush, this time covering the crow around.
10, continue to add more feathers around the crow until you cover all the empty parts. Also want to add another crow, but this one will be relatively small and to reverse.
11, then you have completed the brush this part. Next, use the same extraction method as before to extract each feather in the background picture. This is the hardest part I've ever seen, and it's difficult to extract feathers in this tutorial. Here is an example of a feather extracted from an image. 1, erase the other parts of the image, turn off the color of feathers. 2, the use of color levels to make the feather whitening. Use selection > Color range to copy feathers. 3, convert the image to black and white mode, reverse it (Command key +i), and then repeat it, set the copy to overlay.
12, now, I have extracted the feathers I need, I will use it on the crow's head, and then add some brush around it.
13, the next use the same feather image, to create a punk style.
14. Now we're going to add more feathers to the crow. Again, use the same technique to extract the feathers from the background picture, and then put the feathers in the right place.
