Film Tape
Step 1
First make a black tape. Add two small squares on both sides of the tape, the object > Blend > Blending Options Menu Sets the spacing to specify a step number of 20 and copies it to the bottom.
Step 2
Add a set of white squares for the tape on the movie frame. Select film Tape drag it to the Symbol Panel (window > symbol) to create a new symbol.
Step 3
Now we're going to present the tape of the film in reality. Use the Pencil tool (N) to draw a smooth s-shaped line, keeping the selected state effect >3D> protrusion and bevel. Check the preview to move the cube to the appropriate location, as shown below. Keep the Options window open and we have some more things to tweak here.
Step 4
Now let's apply the tape texture we created earlier and click the Texture button. Here you need to toggle the surface and select our new symbol to apply it to the visible surface. Click Zoom to fit the button to resize.
If the new symbol is not enough to cover the entire surface, you can create a new tape symbol.
You may notice that only the White box area is visible, and gray is not visible on the other side and outside the box.
Step 5
Objects > expanded skins. Now we can start coloring and select the tape on the front black shape surface to fill the dark blue linear gradient.
Step 6
Fill film tape with a dark, linear gradient to make it more shiny.
Now the color tape looks like.
Step 7
Put the upper and lower part of the small piece white on the upper and lower part of the tape. becomes a compound path (CTRL+8) and uses a path finder to subtract the top layer.
Step 8
Now we need to adjust the tape roll level. You can use the Cutter tool (which is found under the Eraser tool) to divide the shape so that there are two different shapes, and press (crtl+shift+[) to adjust it to the end.
Step 9
Create a similar film tape.
If you want to add more details, you can choose movie frames to reduce opacity 90% to make them translucent.
Overall composition:
Add a fascinating background
Step 1
Make our objects more shiny. First copy a pair of glasses (crtl+c>crtl+f), continue to copy an eyeglasses the Pathfinder panel is merged into one shape, filling the black linear gradient.
Step 2
Select the two copies that we have created, and click Make masks in the transparency panel. As you can see the black part becomes transparent this is the reflection of the 3D glasses.
Make other objects ' reflections in the same way.
Look at the reflection effect.
Step 3
Create a pale purple to dark purple radial background.
Step 4
Add detail to the object to make the picture more vivid, set the lens blending mode to process color, add shadow blending mode to multiply the bottom.
Step 5
Add a flashing background, lavender to black radial gradient blending mode for color filtering. You can also add a little starlight to create a romantic effect that looks more attractive.
Your movie poster is finished.
