You can change the selection preview to see the shape of the selection. When you finally click OK you will get a selection of lips. Select the diagram layer and next.
Step 3rd-Blindfold the constituency
Do not cancel the selection, Layer-layer mask-hides all, and then fills the selection with white (#FFFFFF). In this way, the lips are visible and the rest of the face will fade away. (Translator, click on the Mask button on the layers panel directly.) Don't look for it in the menu ...

Step 5th-A better grayscale image
One time, a photographer told me: "Don't think you can get a grayscale image by lowering your saturation, don't even think about it." "To get a good grayscale image, you have to know the alpha channel. Before the adjustment layer appears, we can only rely on manual action.
Now, we have the adjustment layer. Select Black and White from the adjustment panel and it is now the default value. By default, the skin tones are a little gray and we will tune to white.
I chose "Green filter", then added a bit of yellow, green, cyan, blue, minus Magenta, get the following film. Make sure that the trim button for the adjustment layer is there (translator: that is, the "left" small arrow, if not, you can alt-click in the middle of two layers), because the adjustment should only apply to the "copy" layer. Then, next.
