The final effect is as follows.

1, the first thing to consider is the angle of the photo, according to the photo content design a good dynamic direction, I chose a diagonal angle, a good fit theme.

I also chose to use the original image with two primary colors-grayscale (black/white/gray) and blue. You may need to add hue/contrast later, but that's enough.

2, open vector swirl pattern picture material, according to the design need to rotate (shift+ctrl+u), make sure they are on separate layer.

3, this is the whirlpool on her left arm. Set the opacity of the layer to 50%. I don't like the model with so much gray, so it will remove some parts of the vortex so that her arm still shows some swirl around, as if into her.

You can use these tools when removing the vortex section: a soft eraser tool and/or a polygon lasso tool. The pen tool can be used to draw selections or masks. I use the eraser tool in the stomach area and the hand, but use the Polygon Lasso tool on the arm.

4, this is the whirlpool on her right arm. Set layer opacity to 50%. This is almost the same as "Eddy 1": Let it flow with her body's jumping angle.

5, this vortex in her legs to the stomach. Set layer opacity to 50%. This is more difficult than the other two, and you may need to remove more to make it look good and appropriate.

6, in order to add some color to the whirlpool, only need a soft round brush, in the vortex of the interior draw a curve. It's just a foundation--the whirlpool and the color will look more delicate later.

7, after drawing a few lines (if they're not close, put them on the same layer, but if they're close to each other, put them on a different layer.) This makes editing easier. ) using the Smudge tool. Smear it at the corner and fade it.

When you apply all the brush strokes, set the blending mode of the layers to strong light. It now looks like the image below. It should have a nice ' glow '.

8. In order to create the lines in the image, we will use the Polygon Lasso tool we will use. You can also try pixel stretching technique (pixel stretching technique), stretching and rotating pixels to get a satisfying effect.

Hold down shift on the keyboard and click where you want to go (outside of the model), and click on the other side of the model again (when you hold down SHIFT you will see the tool has a good angle) make a straight line, pull down a few pixels, and then return to where you first clicked. This is a diagonal line! Fill it (with paint bucket).

9, create more stripes, with different sizes and colors.

10, I have all the diagonal at the top of the other layer. I used a different color to fill the line, I chose a different blue-dark blue, light blue and so on. Now, make them more integrated and merge stripes. Copy (Ctrl + J) stripes and hide them (click on the eye side of the stripe layer). Set the new stripe layer as: color deepened. Now this looks a bit heavy, so using a large eraser (] key), remove the middle 50% portion of the stripe, as shown below:

11, is to hide other layers of stripes, copy it and repeat the above steps, the different layer is set to overlay, erase different areas, but to avoid the belly, face, etc., you can put stripes in other parts of the body, just do not cover the model.

If you want more color intensity, copy the original stripe, go to filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, and set it to about 20, layer set to overlay. Move them to a place with few lines.

Always use the original stripe layer when doing this. When you finish all the stripes, you can now add stripes to the "line", this uses the original stripe layer--Select all stripes (press CTRL + click its original stripe layer) to choose > Modify > Shrink, and a small dialog box pops up, based on the size of your image, set to 1 pixels is good. Click OK to shrink and press the DELETE key on the keyboard.

12, your original stripe is now 1 pixels. You can set them the way you like, I'll set the layers: linear dodge and overlay. Don't forget to keep the original layer easy to use, but hide it. If you want your 1 pixel stripes to be more prominent you can try this, copy the line layer, go to filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, and set it to about 2.0 to 3.0.

You can also add large lines to the random area, such as her right arm, and I'll add a big stripe next to it. I also added a little below her knee.

13, with the pen tool to enhance the blue intensity of the whirlpool. Create a new layer and select the Pen tool. Click on one end of the blue smear area (the Vortex section) and click on the other end of it. You should have a line, click in the center of it, hold down CTRL (also hold down the left mouse button) and drag it into a circle, click on the nearest 1th you created, and do the same thing, the effect is as above.

14, right-click the path (the circle you just created), and then click the Fill Path. Make sure that blue is the foreground color. You should now have a blue shape around the pen path, just press two times to remove the path. If you get the shape, erase the interior of the shape with the Eraser tool, and then set the shape layer to strong light, as shown below. Copy it, move it slightly downward, and do the same with the others.

15. Use the cloud textures/brushes you need. I only use 4 of them around the model.

16. I used a project called sinedotsii in the Photoshop plugin to create white lines around the model. You want to download it, open it from the Filter menu, click Random until you get a nice effect, copy it, blur it for 3.0.

If you use illustrator, you might be able to create them with the software. As for hue, I like to use "Photoshop action" or "Photo filter". The effect of some good or bad, the following is an example.

17, combine all the effects, put it on a new layer, copy the image two times, I set it to multiply (layer mix), and then add this hue from the Manicho (at the top of the material to find) "#42 contrast desat 3". The second is set to overlay, opacity 50%, copy it, erase the top and bottom gray corners, and add depth to the model/image. (The last step is adjusted to your liking) try to tone and image intensity more. Test out the different color combinations to see what you can achieve. The final effect is as follows.
