1. Basic knowledge: function and Structure

The structure and composition of human eyes are similar: elliptical structure, taper on both sides, eyelids, eyes and eyebrows. It's easy to draw a recognizable eye, just like the following picture.

Create a new canvas, name an existing layer as background, set the foreground color to #dcb6a3, and set the background color to #963931.

Using the Gradient tool (G), set the foreground color to the background color gradient, drag from left to right to create a gradient layer close to the skin tone. 7, give eyes to Flesh and blood: painting The Whites

First step

First build a new layer, named "Whites", drag the layer to the "background" and "line draft" layer, using a gray-white (#ddc6bc) hard round brush to draw the base color of the whites.

8. Draw Lacrimal gland

First step

Because the skin near the lacrimal gland is not completely wrapped around the muscles, all use a little more pink. It should be noted that the eye and eye circumference muscles are not so distinct, they affect each other fusion. So when we are painting, pink will also penetrate to the whites of some, we will explain below.

Sets the foreground color to #853c2e and the background color to #5e2218.

Use the same brush, paint the interior of the eye with a light color, and then use a darker colour around the corner of the eye. At the same time add a little pink to the whites nearby. The following two picture is the result of the Wired manuscript and no line draft, everybody can compare.

Second Step

Next, set the foreground color to #d77661, set the background color to white #ffffff, and then reduce the brush. Enlarge the canvas and add some highlights in the light--use the light powder first, and then add a little bit of pure white highlights. This can reflect the surface humidity.

9, Iris and pupil

First step

Create a new layer in the middle of "whites" and "lines" and name it "Iris."

Set the foreground color to #6b3826, guide the draft, and draw a circle.

Second Step

With the eyes of the white pupil is still quite scary, now we use the black #000000, on the basis of the online manuscript in the middle draw a circle, to represent the pupil.

10, add the iris details

First step

New layer again! Add a layer on the iris layer, named Iris details.

The iris and pupil parts penetrate each other and penetrate the whites. In short, there is no absolute clear demarcation!

Set the foreground color to #240b02, and then adjust the brush size to apply along the iris and pupil edges, and be careful to blend naturally. Draw the time to pay attention to the upper part of the iris to create a shadow of eyelids and eyelashes cast, do not worry about painting out.

Second Step

Turn foreground tones to #54382a, the foreground color to #3f2315, shrink the brush smaller, enlarge the canvas, and try to draw different shades of color in the brown area. Notice that these strokes radiate around the center of the pupil.

Third Step

Next, we need to add more details to the iris. The foreground tones to the #9b643f, the background tones to the #511f05, and the brush to a few pixel sizes to depict the details of the iris muscles. You can use the "X" key to toggle between the foreground and background colors during the painting process. Remember to add these two colors to your swatches so it is convenient to use the eyedropper tool (I).
