Step 1
We began to create a brush for the snow. First create a new file and draw four to seven scattered points using the soft-edged circle brush. Make sure they are different in size and distance from each other. Then select Edit > Define Brush presets.
Step 2
F5 opens the Brush Settings window. First increase the spacing to avoid brush interference. The specific spacing is determined by the brush size.
Step 3
Turn on shape dynamics. Give the brush a smaller minimum diameter (guaranteed to be visible) and a large angle jitter (make each pen rotate arbitrarily). The minimum diameter must be painted with a hand-drawn pen.
Step 4
Open the scatter and select a suitable value. Don't be too big or too small to control strokes.
Step 5
Turn on the pass to change the transparency of the brush.
Step 6
Test the brushes in the new file. Brushes look like spray. If you do not have the appropriate effect, return the brush to adjust. Then click the Create New Brush button in the lower-right corner of the brush window to save the brush.
Step 7
Create snow brushes in the same way. Create a new file and draw three soft edge dots, which are far away. Define the preset brush again.
Step 8
Give the brush a large spacing.
Step 9
Add Angle jitter.
Step 10
Give a big spread to the brush.
Step 11
Turn on delivery.
Step 12
Test brush and adjust. Save the brush again for backup.
