PS Quick Make Brush tutorial

The brushes made are as follows:

Start with a photo

First we need a high-resolution photo, preferably a texture photo, because for the brush, it must be a texture picture better than the landscape or portrait. The reason is obvious. The following picture that you see is what I took with my own Nikon D90.

Your picture should be as big as possible, and the size of this one is 4288x2848.

Adjust photos

Next, we need to make some adjustments to this picture before creating the brush. The goal is to raise a little shade and enhance contrast. So all we have to do is to use Photoshop to open this picture first.

You can adjust the brightness/contrast, color level, curve, and so on.

Select Slice Create Brush

Next cut the picture, I'm going to cut this picture into 10 rectangles. An easy way to do this is to use slicing tools. Select the Slice tool drag the entire picture to circle it all, and then right-click to select Slice, which will pop up a dialog box, because I want to cut into 10 rectangles, so I set the data is this: Portrait 2, Horizontal 5. So you get 10 rectangles of equal size.
