1th Step

Opens the selected image in Photoshop. Select Layers > New adjustment layer > levels, and increase the amount of black in the image, slide the black arrow to 8. Copy the background layer and move the background copy layer to the top.

Right-click in the Layers panel and select Convert to Smart object. This allows you to easily modify or correct the original image data without losing it.

2nd Step

We need to increase the contrast of the image and perform the background copy layer (Filter > Other > High Contrast). Use a radius of 14. Sets the blending mode of the layer to overlay.

Patterned textures, such as the coats in this picture, are more pronounced.

3rd Step

Now, we will reduce the contrast of the background layer. Above the background layer, execute layer > New adjustment layer > Brightness/contrast, contrast setting-20.

4th step

Add a new curve adjustment layer. Go to the Channel Pull-down menu and each channel operates independently.

The red channel, which increases the light portion and lowers the dark part, uses the S-shaped curve. Green channel: Increase the light part, keep neutral hue and lower the dark part. For blue, reduce the light part and raise the dark part.
