This PS tutorial will introduce a way to make a beautiful spiral nebula effect using Photoshop lens Glow filters, free transform, polar coordinates, and rotational distortions.
Effect chart
Step 1th-Create a new document
Run Photoshop, press CTRL + N, create a new document,
The size is 1280 pixels x1024 pixels, the resolution is 72 pixels per inch, and the background is black.
Step 2nd-Add Halo
Press Ctrl+j to copy the background layer and perform the filter-> render the-> lens flare.
Adjusts the value of the lens flare filter.
The effect is shown in the following illustration.
3rd Step-making spiral effect
Performs a free transform (ctrl+t) on the Halo layer, turning the glow into an oval.
Press CTRL+J to copy the layer and rotate it 90 degrees.
Modify the copied layer blending mode to lighten.
The effect chart is as follows.
Perform the filter-> distort-> Polar coordinates command, as shown in the following figure.

Perform filters-> distort-> rotation distortion,
Press Ctrl+f to repeat the rotation twist filter.
Step 4th-Adjust the color
First press Ctrl+u to modify the hue/saturation value, pull the Hue slider to the left, and turn the spiral color blue.
