PS synthesis of bizarre skull trees

The effect graph looks very abstract, the synthesis difficulty is not big. Process: First, the soil, the ground, the sky and so on the integration of good, and then add roots, skeletons, nests and so on to make a general theme, later add leaves and other decorative.

Final effect

1, first in Photoshop a new 1500 * 1500 pixel document, fill white. Open the Sky material and select the Sky section with the rectangular marquee tool.

2, Selection: Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, radius of 6.

3, create a color balance adjustment layer, change the middle of the red and yellow color values.

4, open the soil material, with the rectangular selection of the box tool to select the soil section, copied and placed on the sky layer.

5, create a curve adjustment layer, set to the clipping mask, the parameters are set below the figure left. Then create a hue/saturation adjustment layer, which is also set to the clipping mask, and the parameters are set to the right of the figure below.

6, create a solid color adjustment layer, the same set to the clipping mask, the color is gray 50%, the pattern is "overlay", using the tool of deepening: range: The middle, exposure about: 10%-15%, and then the edge of the soil painted dark.

7. Open the soil material as shown in the image below. Select the upper soil of the picture with a rectangular tool. Click on the second icon at the bottom of the layers panel to add a mask and use a black soft brush to remove the hard edges and mix the soil, leaving a portion.

8, create a curve adjustment layer, set to the clipping mask. The layer darkens, while in the layer mask, wipe the upper soil with a black soft brush, as there is some light coming from the close to the sky.

9, create hue/saturation adjustment layer, reduce saturation, the following figure.

10, open the lawn material, with the rectangular marquee tool to select the Grass section, drag this layer, with the free Transform tool CTRL + T to enlarge the bottom of the grass.

11. Add a layer mask to this layer, mix hard edges and grass with black soft brush, and mix soil and sky.

12, on the grassland layer, filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, Radius set to 3px.

13, add a layer mask, with a soft black brush to erase some of the grass, so that the blur effect can only see a distant background.

14. There are some unnecessary shadows on the grass. Create a new layer, set it as a clipping mask, and delete them with the Clone stamp tool.

15, create a color balance adjustment layer, set to the clipping mask, the parameters are set as shown below. Then create a curve adjustment layer, set to the clipping mask, and increase the brightness.

16, in this layer mask, with a black soft brush to reduce the edge of the lower degree of low, especially the lower right corner of the grass.

17, create a curve to adjust the layer to black right edge of grass.

18, open skull material, with lasso tool to pull out, and then CTRL + T rotation Center. Add a mask to this layer and erase the middle part with a black soft brush to make it look like it's stuck between the grass and the soil.
