Querying data using SQL statements in Excel (ii)

Last Post we use OLE DB when importing external data (refer to the previous post) we share today how to import external data using Microsoft Query. There are questions about how OLE DB and microsoftquery connect external data, and I just say they are two different standards. Specific differences have the opportunity to explain again.

The following steps are appreciated,

First, look at the data source. (Sheet1 in Employee.xlsx)

We choose where to display the imported data (for example, I show the imported data in Employee.xlsx's Sheet2) and select Data menu from the other sources----from Microsoft Query

The Select Data Source dialog box appears. We select the Excel file type. Click OK

Select the location of the data source, where we use the employee.xlsx Sheet1 as the data source.

Go to the editor, double-click * asterisk, Show all data sources, then click the SQL button to bring up the AQL statement editor
