Okay, let's talk about how to set it. Open network_config.bat under epoc32 \ tools (make sure the simulator is disabled at this time ),

1. Select network adapter in promiscuous mode.

2. Select use the follwing IP address to set your IP address and gateway parameters. (Note that the IP address should be set to belong to the same LAN as the IP address of your PC, but it is important not to be the same as the IP address of your PC !!!)

3. Select use the follwing DNS server addresses to set your DNS server address.

4. Don't forget to select the bottom adapters button to select the network card that you have. If there is only one network card, enter 1.

5. Test. Open the simulator, create a bookmark in the "network", for example, www.google.com, and connect. If you can connect to it, congratulations! The simulator has been configured to access the Internet! (If one connection fails, do not lose heart or even several times. Sometimes we don't open the desired webpage every time. ^_^)

1. Make sure that your simulator can access the Internet.

2. Open "information" of the simulator, click the left soft key, select Settings, and then select email.

3. Define the mailbox (if it is set for the first time, the simulator will prompt ).

4. Mailbox name: Optional. Use the default value.

5. Access Point: You must select Ethernet.

6. My email address: Set to your email name (for example, imcm001@163.com)

7. Email sending server: depending on your email address and specific website, it is recommended to apply for a mailbox on 163 first, Because 163 has detailed setting help on the mail client (see http://mail.163.com/help/help_client_04.htm ). Therefore, we set it to smtp.163.com first.

8. User name: in the preceding example, the user name can be set to imcm001.

9. Password: enter your email password.

10. Email receiving server: in the preceding example, set it to pop.163.com.

11. Mailbox type: Select POP3 (this is important ).
