Quick introduction to Digital photo processing

Quick Start Photoshop is a very handy image processing software, but some beginners tend to think it is professional, a little "respectful", rather than using Windows drawing board. Correcting exposure deviations

Sometimes the photos are exposed to a bias, or dimmed by exposure (Fig. 1a), or are illuminated by excessive exposure. We can correct this kind of photos by adjusting brightness, brightness contrast, hue, saturation and so on. In Figure 1a, for example, open "image → adjust → brightness/contrast" in the menu bar. The Brightness/contrast dialog box pops up, moving the brightness and contrast adjustments to the right place (the brightness and contrast values are +30 in this case), and the adjusted effect is previewed in the image window. Then turn on "image → adjust → hue/saturation", pop the Hue/Saturation dialog box, and move the saturation adjustment slider to the appropriate position (legend saturation is +30). The adjusted effect as shown in Figure 1b, the flowers in the photo become much brighter than the original. If you encounter an incorrect color, you can also adjust the hue of the image in the Hue/Saturation dialog box.

Cutting and composition

When browsing photos, we sometimes feel that some photos have a wide range of shots, but the topics we want to express are not clear enough. Figure 3a, if we want to express the majestic Great Wall this theme, the sky background is too big, a little distracting. This problem can be solved by proper trimming of the image. Select the Trim tool in the toolbar and choose a rectangular selection you want to keep in the photo (Figure 3b). If you are not satisfied with this rectangular selection, move the mouse over the small box around the selection to adjust its size. You can also move the mouse over the selection (when the mouse turns black with a solid arrow) to move the selection, and move the mouse outside the selection (when the mouse becomes a curved line with arrowheads on both ends), Rotate the selection by using a small circle with a crosshair in the selection (where you can move the mouse) as the center of rotation. After you have adjusted the selection, press ENTER to finish cutting the photo (figure 3c).

Add Picture frame

The whole process is complete and the effect is shown in Figure 4c.
