Error description: (Win7 environment)
Bought a development board, gave some CD-ROM, placed in the computer CD-ROM open, the computer is crazy, it may be the quality of the disc is too poor. "Eject DVD drive Error" appears when you are finished using [see Figure 1]. Pressing the eject button on the host directly also does not respond.
Google results:
- Make sure that the computer is turned off.
- Insert a straightened paper clip into the eject hole on the front of the drive and push firmly in until the tray is partially ejected.
- Gently pull the tray completely out.
I think this method is too troublesome, and there is a risk, is forced to use the means, I think of unlocker.
Artifact Unlocker
Unlocker shot [see Figure 2], found to be Explorer.exe occupied, immediately end Explorer.exe. Then manually press the eject button on the host to eject successfully.
Manual Imitation Unlocker
If you do not have Unlocker installed, you can also manually imitate the unlocker to do:
- End Explorer.exe
- Run Explorer.exe
- Press the host glazing Drive eject button
Emphasize:
After lifting the Explorer.exe occupy, be sure to manually press the host glazing Drive eject button to eject.

UPDATE[2014-11-29]:
I found the real reason for the error: the virtual machine also loaded the disc at the same time.
So the easier way is to unmount the disc directly in the virtual machine.
