The theme Salon "When HTML5 knocked on the door" was held at the innovation workshop last Sunday. It was a joint event in Beijing and Shanghai with a high degree of attention in the industry. Participants include many front-end developers, mobile Internet creators and developers, manufacturers and industry associations. Speakers in Beijing include Xu Hao, Chief Technical Expert of thoughtworks China, Zhao Yu, CTO of yunyou technology, Teng junping, founder of "his community", and Luo Rui, Baidu Web Front-end development engineer. The topics include: w3C China and HTML5, HTML5 and mobile games, HTML5 game development instance sharing, openmgc mobile game open platform project introduction, and two interactive dialogs: HTML5 applications on mobile devices and HTML5 business models.

The two interactive sessions were hosted by me and Hu taiwen, the founder of infoq Chinese site, respectively. During the session I presided over, five guests analyzed HTML5 applications on the mobile Internet, including HTML5 advantages, disadvantages, shortcomings, and Prospects on mobile devices, the analysis is comprehensive and thorough. The HTML5 special effects demonstrated on the site are awesome, with many cool effects and novel applications.
The future of HTML5 is very bright. It will also play an increasing role and strength in the Internet and mobile Internet, greatly changing the way we browse websites and use applications, it provides developers and users with a better choice and experience.
