Search Technology Center Asia (stca)
Stca was founded in year 2005 and is now starting the second "Five-year Plan" after the merge with the ads platform center in 2011. the Team has not only built up its strengths and expanded its scope, but also set a shared goal, broadened its vision, and equipped with richer resources that gives the team the confidence to scale new heights.
Stca is now focusing on the following areas: the continuous isolation of Bing search technology; the Technical Innovation of online advertisement services; the development of the information platform; and the development of mobile search applications. today, stca has hundreds of excellent employees and is the largest R & D team of the Microsoft Online Service Division outside the United States.
Microsoft Asian Internet Engineering Institute
The Microsoft Asia search technology center is composed of search technology and advertising technology R & D teams. Its R & D direction covers four fields: Microsoft Bing search engine technology and online advertising technology, knowledge Platform and mobile Internet R & D. Microsoft's Asia search technology center is an important team and backbone of Microsoft's global online product R & D. It also shoulders the mission of promoting Microsoft's Online Service Market Development in China and Asia Pacific. To achieve this mission, Microsoft's Asian search technology center has established a world-class regional R & D center in Beijing, working closely with Microsoft's Asian Research Institute and Microsoft's consumer Internet international product department, alibaba Cloud strives to promote Microsoft's search and advertising product development teams to efficient and global development organizations. At the same time, the center provides various opportunities and challenges for the career development of every talented engineering and technical personnel and business management personnel.
Roles and responsibilities:
Bing client team builds innovative clients (mobile, Windows desktop, tablets, including Android and iOS devices, etc) to bring value to global users, powered by Bing's machine learning, big data, and strong intelligent platform and infrastructure. we need strong talent to lead our team member to win in China and reach and impact in global markets.
While the battle for web-based search and Internet experiences is still going on, we think the next frontier is in the client applications using SS devices-smart phone, tablets, surface, pads, windows desktop, and other devices which are carried by people around the world. the Development Manager will lead a strong team to build next generation of client apps powered by Bing, Microsoft's technologies, and open source software in a start-up environment. this is opportunity to own end-to-end of multiple products that have high impact to Microsoft in China and 75 other global markets. this is opportunity to work on highly visible applications which will be the differentiators of Bing. this is opportunity to be responsible for designing and building mobile & PC applications and web experiences to help Bing to increase user base, attach rate, and grow market share in both mobile, tablets, and Desktop.

Candidates are expected to have following qualifications:
? Love to design and write great code, passion for shipping software to win the love of MERs.
? With great technical passion, terrifle IC problem-solving skills, drive for results, and ability to work independently
? Experienced in running agile teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
? Good communication and cross-team skills
? Ability to attract and hire the best to build a strong team with experiences in leading, motivating and coaching people
? Fluent in one of the major programming languages: C, C ++, C #, Java
? Knowledge of mobile space and technologies in mobile to drive advanced technology development to build differentiated products
? Knowledge of user experiences in mobile and PC Internet with strong user-focus product experience.
? Significant experiences in one of the following areas: Windows application development, distributed systems, web development and networking
? Minimum 10 year software development experiences with at least 3 years in lead or management roles. Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field is required. master or Ph. D. is preferred.
