Recording macros of word macros

Author: User

When recording a macro, you can click the toolbar button and menu options. However, the macro recorder cannot record the mouse movement in the document window. To move the insert point, select the text, and scroll the document, you must use the keyboard to record these operations.

If a dialog box appears during the recording process, only the "OK" button or "close" button in the dialog box is selected, and all options of the "recording" dialog box are set. For example, if the macro includes the [search] or [replace] command in the menu, if you select the [all] option in the [search range] box, you can perform full-text search when running the macro. If you select the "up" or "down" option, Word stops the macro when it finds the beginning or end of the document, and displays a prompt asking whether to continue searching.

When the "close" command is selected, Word performs a new recording operation.
