Redhat 6.0 OPENLDAP Configuration

LDAP works the same way as 5.5, and functions the same, not much in that.

The OPENLDAP configuration process for 6.0linux:

1. First, check the installation of each required package:

2. View the firewall and SELinux scenarios:

3. Adjust the SELinux key to OFF:

4. Copy the LDAP's main provisioning file:

5. Modify the Master profile (where the password configuration is the same as 5.5, you can use ciphertext, or you can use clear text):

6. Copy the DB Library file into/var/lib/ldap/:

7. Restart the service, set the boot to start automatically, give the relevant directory of the owner of the group of LDAP program users:

8. Install the Import tool:

10. Convert files such as/etc/passwd to LDIF format:

11. Change the Slapd.d file to a different name:

12. Connect to the LDAP server server using the Ldapbre Client tool:
