Last week was the first class, the main content of the class is to allow students to install the software required for programming, to build a most basic car robot, let me unexpectedly, the students a class time to complete all the tasks, more quickly than I imagined, may be I am more stupid, I use longer than they, in fact, also explained a little, Is that the students are really interested. Add a little to the number of students in my class is 28. The student's performance also gives me the pressure, because they accept too quickly, all will have to prepare a little more, prepare a little more.
This week is the second class, I gave the students a brief introduction of how to use programming software, teach students to write a simple small program, and then let the robot run the program. Everyone is also very quickly mastered, and then start their own random program to write programs, some let the robot go square, some go to the triangle, but also the ultrasonic and collision sensors are used, and write some slightly more complex procedures, in these programs have a cycle and choose to judge, this is very rare, Although they learned about robots last semester, this time the EV3 and the programming language of Zhong Ming are completely different. They are quick to get started because they have mastered the idea of programming and understand the basic programming structure-conditional judgment and looping, which makes me very happy.
In addition, I would like to talk about the principles of my class, I think the role of teachers is to guide and guide, rather than replace. So I only talk about this programming part of the class, what role, and then I decorate small tasks, let students do their own implementation, there will not be able to raise their hands to ask questions, I will not write a program for them. Class discipline I do not want to do anything, students free to discuss freely, free to move around, the premise is that this lesson must be introduced to finish. I think this will be more conducive to the development of students.
