Reproduced Magento store multi-language settings

This article takes the extended Chinese package as an example:

First enter your own Magento backstage
Management Store (System-Managestores)



Click Create Store View


Select the store where you want to create the view, the default Main store
Named view name, this can be defined according to your needs, used in the store to choose the language of the switch.
Named View code, which is also custom. Use here, such as: http://www.imt.local/cn/so that you can directly access the configuration of this view.
Sort order, as in the upper corner.



Click Save to create the view successfully.
Next to the shop home in Your Language select "Simplified Chinese"

We need to configure the following:
CMS, Pages



Click the Home page item

Hold down the CTRL key and click "Simplified Chinese", and the colors selected below will be blue.
Save Configuration

Configuration (System->configuration)



Select the view where you want to configure the store, we choose "Simplified Chinese" here
Locale Options
Locale Item Selection Chinese (China)



Save the configuration and access the store's Simplified Chinese view, still showing in English.
We also need to expand the Chinese package (that is, install the Chinese package)
Following: System-Magento connect->magento Connect Manager



Fill in the User name and password (user name and password is login Magento background username password)
Login



After the login is successful, locate as shown and click.



In the page that opens, search for Extensions in the upper right corner Chinese



Click Search Results



Install now get Extension Key and copy
Such as:



Paste the copied extension key to the following location, click Install


When you click Install, a description of the installation appears, and click Proceed to start the installation.



Below the black bottom Green Character section shows the installation extension information and status
