Why is demand control implemented? How to control requirements?These two problems have always led me to think about them along with the recent CRM development.

1. The requirement is clearly defined only in the preliminary project analysis and design phases. In the later stage, demand changes also show specific relativity.
2. Clear requirements can only be a prerequisite for project development, rather than a sufficient one.
3. The more requirements, the clearer and clearer requirements, but the more development workload and difficulty, and the more these increases to a certain extent.
4. There is a dependency between requirements, which is often highlighted in the development process in some dependencies that cannot be reflected in the preliminary project analysis and design stages.
5. From the implementation perspective, there must be a gap between the demand and the final project. This gap may cause project failure and change the project demand.
6. Demand changes are implemented in parallel with development, deployment, and implementation to a certain extent.

In this case, propose demand control,It is both responsible for customers and developers.Why should we control the requirements?

The following are my recent summary of the problems. Through these problems, we can see the project crisis caused by lack of control of requirements:

1. In the sales process, we aim to improve customer recognition to achieve sales results and expand sales performance, and exaggerate the functions and features that can be provided, resulting in over-passive development and uncontrollable project cycles.
2. In the demand analysis and design phase, the requirements are described, recorded and analyzed by the customer, designed and split ...... The process leads to "deformation" of the demand ".
3. In the development process, due to the conflict between the functions and features promised in sales and the development time.
4. In the deployment and implementation process, the customer's original requirements and existing products lead to a reduction in customer acceptance and trust.
5. Reconcile passive demand changes in the process of customer recognition and trust.
6. Submission of bugs and demand changes increases time conflicts.
7. Project concurrency leads to poor project cycle controllability.
8. The shirking process of related personnel causes internal consumption.
9. Project uncertainty increases after demand changes.
10. Other problems.

To put it simply,The purpose of requirement control is to prevent project crisis, increase project controllability, efficiently use and allocate existing resources, improve customer recognition and satisfaction, and increase project revenue.

With the purpose of requirement control, the first problem is solved-why is demand control implemented.

As described above, requirement control is both the customer and the developer. This type of control should be carried out by the sales staff and system analysis, design, development, and deployment personnel.

As the project goes on, the demand should be converted from a push-type to a pull-type, from a sales-oriented customer to a dominant one. Avoiding excessive and excessive conversion is also the responsibility of demand control, this prevents project crisis.
