There is a lot of content about communication management. I have also listened to the training of masters. I will summarize it myself and talk about how to communicate with customers based on the specific features of ERP project implementation. Here we will talk about the basic concepts of communication. Later, we will have a deep understanding of how to communicate with customers during the ERP implementation process. We hope more friends will participate in the discussion. 1. Why do we need to communicate? What is the purpose of communication?

Generally, there are three main purposes of communication:

1. transfer information. Send specific information to relevant personnel so that the other party can understand and understand some things or situations.

2. Discussion. Relevant personnel discuss the understanding, handling method, solution, strategy, plan, and other content of a specific task, so that the task can be done better and done more perfectly.

3. negotiation. Where there are different opinions or differences, relevant parties should start negotiations, set facts and make sense, and try to persuade the other party to accept their own conditions through persuasion, compromise, concession, understanding, and inclusiveness, finally, we reached an agreement on something.

2. Communication Methods

In general, there are also three minutes of communication.

1. individual communication. Inform the relevant personnel of certain items by notification. If no feedback is required, at least feedback is required. It is generally used to publish notifications, requirements, systems, commands, notifications, and leaflets.

2. two-way communication. One party communicates with the other party in an interactive manner and agrees on the communication results (or may be inconsistent). However, at least both Parties have the opportunity and right to express their opinions, you can fully express your opinions and suggestions. For example: fall in love, work performance appraisal communication, program communication, etc.

3. Mesh communication. This is a multi-party communication method. Participants represent different stakeholders. They fully express their opinions on relevant matters and reach a compromise and consensus. For example, during the implementation of the ERP project, Party A, Party B, and the supervisor discuss the acceptance criteria for the project implementation.

3. Communication channels (means)

1. Telephone 2, email 3, meeting 4, report 5, report, 6, oral 7, notification 8, Leaflet 9, panel 10, SMS 11, and message.

Iv. Principles of communication

I remember a master emphasized three principles for us during training:

1. Do not preemptively. This is easy to understand, that is, do not "Define" the other party first ". This is often caused by different positions and incomplete information collected.

2. Deal with your emotions before communication. Emotional communication, at least irrational, may also lead to emotional changes of the other party. The results are certainly not ideal.

3. Communication is bidirectional. Generally, you should listen more and speak less. It is best to repeat and confirm the views of the other party to obtain the correct information. The other party should fully understand the uncertain or difficult points of view, and be confirmed by the other party.

In addition, I would like to add the following points:

1. Correct Attitude and calm mind. If you conduct communications from the "win-win" perspective and from the perspective of "to make things develop in a better direction", most of the communications will go smoothly.

2. Have clear goals. The goal should also be focused. Communication without goals is a waste of time and meaningless. It is certainly difficult to achieve the desired results.

3. make full preparations. If you know yourself and know what you want, you can win a hundred battles.

4. Pay attention to the time, location, and people for communication. In order to improve the communication efficiency and achieve the communication goal at the right time, at the right place, and at the right people and at the right words. Otherwise, the results may be as you can imagine, regardless of the quantity.

5. Confirm the communication result. If it needs to be implemented on paper, it must be implemented on paper. If it needs to be signed for confirmation, it must be signed for confirmation. For example, we must have meeting minutes for important meetings with our customers.

6. Follow up and provide feedback on the communication results. If continuous feedback is required, follow-up, feedback, and implementation of the items reached through communication should be carried out. Resend
