Abstract:
In view of the slow transmission speed and difficult network connection of traditional devices, a Data Conversion System for serial ports and Ethernet is proposed using w5300 and c8051f120 single chip microcomputer. the RS232 and RS485 chips are used to receive and send low-speed serial data, the single-chip microcomputer c8051f120 is used as the core processing chip, and the w5300 chip is used to send and receive Ethernet data. A specific hardware circuit is designed, the program design of single-chip microcomputer is completed using C language. because the w5300 is integrated with the TCP/IP protocol, the MCU does not need to write a complicated TCP/IP protocol stack. the conversion system can connect traditional devices to Ethernet and achieve remote monitoring. the experimental results show that the conversion system achieves the mutual conversion between serial data and Ethernet data, which is simple and reliable, with high transmission efficiency, high stability, and low cost, it has a certain degree of practicality and promotion value.
