When you connect Linux with putty or SECURECRT, you will always automatically disconnect after a period of time, although for security reasons, but very uncomfortable to use, you can try the following methods to avoid this disconnect.
a). Uncomment the "Clientaliveinterval" setting in/etc/ssh/sshd_config and change 0 to a smaller number (for example, 50).
B. Sometimes the Tmout option is set in the/etc/profile or ~/.bash_profile on the server side, or the setting of the client connection time is set in the/etc/ssh/sshd_config file, possibly after a SECURECRT will be disconnected, so SECURECRT has another option to set the number of seconds to automatically send a message to the server side, tell the server-side client is still connected.
Session Options –> Terminal –> –> send string can be set, such as Send/n, NULL, or other information in the past, can be set every number of seconds to send, such as can be 60 seconds, so you can guarantee that the line will not fall.
If you want to apply to all sessions, select global Options-> The default session-> edit the default settings. Do the above changes can be used globally.
