Let's show you how to use Photoshop to design your resume cover.
1. Start Photoshop CS, create a new A4 paper size (29.7cmx21cm) canvas, set the foreground color to black, background color white, select the Gradient tool, set the gradient to "linear gradient" in the property bar, and hold down the SHIFT key to fill the canvas with a gradient from left to right, Then execute the filter → pixel → color halftone command to open the Color Halftone dialog box, in which the maximum radius is set to 20 pixels, the 1, Channel 2, Channel 3, and Channel 4 parameters are 100, because only the same parameters will produce a future dot will not appear ghosting. The effect after applying the filter is shown in Figure 1.
2. Select the Rectangle marquee tool to draw a vertical rectangular selection on the left side of the page. Fill the image in the selection with black, and then perform the image → adjust → hue/saturation command to open the Hue/Saturation dialog box, where the Color check box is selected, setting lightness to 67, saturation to 42, Hue "is 214, after adjusting the black in the image becomes the light blue color, the effect is shown in Figure 2.
3. Finally add some text in the image and add a "stroke" layer style for all the text, and to make the "resume" two words more prominent, you need to add the "drop Shadow" layer effect separately for the two words, as shown in Figure 3.
