Reason:

1, SVN server is not secure, you can directly open the manager, the project to delete or move out, etc., is not conducive to the confidentiality of the Code and the prevention of accidental deletion. VSS does not see the project and code on the server side.

2, SVN is convenient for many people at the same time, but if a lot of people change, the code is still messy, and resolve conflicts more troublesome. Small teams are more likely to maintain code uniqueness with VSS's "Update-check-out lock-check-in unlock" approach.
