There is a folder named temp under the Windows directory, which is the main system variable generated file. We can transfer the files in this folder to another disk, as long as the files are regularly deleted, the system download site will be available.

We will find that its folder is under the Documents and Settings directory of drive C:
Click Edit to change the temp and TMP paths to D:/temp. Then click the drop-down box in the system variables to pull to the bottom:
