SAP public Cloud and private cloud solutions Overview

On the right-hand side of the SAP public cloud solution, the more famous are SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C), as an SAP software as a service (SaaS) solution.

The left-most SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud is a private cloud platform for SAP. The main thing you can buy on this platform is SAP S/4hana (and of course, business suite, etc.). After the customer has purchased the product, SAP is responsible for building the underlying infrastructure (Infrastructure) and system operations. In other words, these systems actually run on one of SAP's global data centers.

From the first figure, you can see that SAP's cloud solution also uses some open source technology stacks, such as Cloudfoundry, as a PAAs operating system.

The following figure has two rings, with the innermost ring wrapped in SAP core business applications, both on-premise SAP S/4hana and cloud-based products.

The second ring is where we partner and our customers: with the SAP Cloud platform, we can quickly build lightweight applications that integrate with SAP core business applications.

On-premise and cloud solutions can be connected through the SAP Cloud platform. Applications, data and business processes are also becoming a node of digital mesh through the SAP cloud platform, thus eliminating information and data silos.

More thorough

With the SAP cloud platform, you can try to integrate the most rapidly evolving technologies into SAP legacy products such as machine learning, IoT, blockchain services, and more.
