The SARscape5.2 supports the reading of Sentinel 1 a data and the supported data types are:
- SM slc--Diagonal Single-view plural products with stripe mode
- IW slc--Interference width mode (TOPS mode) Single-View complex product
- EW slc--Ultra Wide Format (TOPS mode) Single-view complex products
- SM grd--stripe mode for ground distance multi-view Products
- IW grd--Interference width mode (TOPS mode) for ground distance multi-view Products
- EW grd--Ultra-wide format (TOPS mode) for ground-distance multi-view Products
The supported track files are:
- aux_poeorb--accurate orbital ephemeris parameters, which are produced within 21 days of data acquisition, within 5cm of accuracy
- aux_resorb--modified orbital parameters, the file is produced within 3 hours after data acquisition, within 10cm accuracy
The following is a view of the IW SLC data for example, the Sarscape under the Sentinel 1 a data read. Software version: sarscape5.2+envi5.2.

1 preparation prior to data processing
(1) setting of Sarscape system parameters
When doing data processing, the Sarscape system parameters should be selected according to the data sensor, resolution and other conditions. Open the/sarscape/preferences tool, click Load Preferencesàsentinel_topsar in the panel, click "Yes" in the Pop-up dialog box,
Figure selection of system parameters suitable for Sentinel 1 a data IW SLC
If you are dealing with data from the IW and EW patterns, you need to select the Sentinel_topsar system parameter, and if you are working with SM data, select VHR this set of parameters.
If you want to use the ability to automatically select track files, you need to create a Sentinel-1 Orbit directory folder in the directories and batch file names parameters panel, which requires you to create two subfolders, named Aux_ Poeorb and Aux_resorb, which store the corresponding track files. The last 180 days of track files can be downloaded on the website: https://qc.sentinel1.eo.esa.int/. If you have a track parameter file, you can set the track file path in Sentinel-1 orbit directory in the directories and batch options, and then build two more folders under that path, named Aux_poeorb and Aux_resorb, respectively. Store the corresponding version of the track file.

(2) setting of ENVI system parameters
Sarscape interface under ENVI, the default input and output of data processing in Sarscape uses the default path of the ENVI system settings, so the default input and output path is set in envi for ease of operation. Click File->prefrances

2, Sentinel 1 a data import
(1) Data file input
Open the/sarscape/import Data/sar spaceborne/sentinel 1 tool and enter a King Sentinel 1 a data metadata file Manifest.safe in the input file list. If you want to do bulk data reading at once, you can enter the. safe file for the multi-view data in the list, and the data types of the bulk read are consistent.
Figure Input Data file
Optional input Orbit The file List, the track file, which is an optional file, where no track file is entered. Only in the intervention process to enter the track file, if the corresponding track file is stored in the data track file path, there is no need to manually input the interface, the software will automatically go to the corresponding path to find the corresponding track file, in this case, the program first go to "Sentinel-1 orbit Directory folder under the Aux_poeorb sub-folder, find the corresponding track file, if not found the corresponding track file, the program will be found under the Aux_resorb subfolder, if still not found, the program will use the data comes with the track file.
(2) Parameter setting
The main parameter is the output data naming setting, the recommended choice rename the File Using parameters:true, you can automatically name the output data according to the data type. If you want to output the mosaicked SLC data file, you can set the Generate SLC mosaic to true in other parameters, otherwise the SLC data for each stripe is output by default.
Data type software is automatically recognized without making settings.
Figure Main Parameters
(3) Output settings
Previously set the default output path, here directly by default, if you want to change the output path, right-click on the data Output path, select the switch output directries.
Figure Output Settings
After setting the parameters, click Exec to execute, and then click End when the dialog box is finished.
3. Result file
After the data is imported, the output has the following files:
(1) Intensity graph data of the image of the scene:
SENTINEL1_41_XXXXXXXX_XXXXXXXXX_IW_SIW1_A_VV_SLC_LIST_PWR, can be loaded in Envi, select the Sarscape stretch method, display view.
Figure Strength Data
(2) Outer frame vector file with geographic coordinates:
SENTINEL1_41_XXXXXXXX_XXXXXXXXX_IW_SIW1_A_VV_SLC_LIST.SHP, loaded into the ENVI display, you can click Views->reference Map Link, The auto-load area Displays the geographic extent of the data on the Basemap on ArcGIS online.
Figure Vector Outer box data
Geographic coordinate information of graph vector data
Figure automatically displays the geographic extent on the ArcGIS online basemap
(3) SLC data of each stripe and its index file
IW wide data is obtained from a number of scans, and the SLC data for each stripe is stored under the Sentinel1_41_xxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxxx_iw_siw1_a_vv_slc_list.split_bursts folder
SLC file for each stripe of the graph
After the data is read, the Sarscape can read the SLC index file sentinel1_41_xxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxxx_iw_siw1_a_vv_slc_list directly when any subsequent data processing is done.
The SLC data file name of each stripe is recorded in the image index document.
