Saving paper will increase the "volume rate"

The volumetric rate usually refers to the ratio of the total floor area and the land area of a community. We use this concept in the printing process, refers to the printed content and the number of paper used ratio, the greater the ratio of paper.

The following is the WPS text (WPS Office 2010 Person Edition) as an example to introduce several ways to increase the "volume rate".

One, change page margin

If the conditions allow, the margin will be smaller, increase the "volume rate", the specific operation is as follows.

Follow the file → page setup in turn, and in the Page Setup window that opens, in the Margins tab, adjust the margin values for the top, bottom, left, and right margins of the margin (Figure 1).

Second, change the line spacing

The line spacing is smaller, can also increase the "volume rate", the specific operation is as follows.

Select the body of the article, then follow the format → paragraph, and set the line spacing to fixed value in the Indents and Spacing tab of the paragraph window, and then adjust the appropriate point size (Figure 2).

Third, the Sub-column

Columns can also increase the "volume rate", the specific operation is as follows.

Follow the format → columns, and then set the appropriate number of columns (Figure 3)

Four, set "wrapping method"

If there are pictures and other objects in the text, set the object to the appropriate "wrapping mode", the following actions.

Select the object, then follow format → format object formatting, click the Layout tab in the Format Object window, set the appropriate wrapping style, and set the horizontal alignment (Figure 4)
