Searching duplicate data and deleting methods in Excel

I use Excel to manage students' scores. I want to highlight the score data of students with the same name (change the font and cell fill color) and use "conditional format.

1. Start Excel 2003 (similar to the basic version) to open the student renewal table.

2. Select the cell area where the data is located (for example, B2 to J2001) and run the "format & rarr; condition format" command to open the "condition format" dialog box.

3. Click the drop-down button on the right of the leftmost box, select the "formula" option in the drop-down list that will pop up later, and enter the formula in the box that follows: = COUNTIF ($ B $2: $ B $2001, $ B2)> 1 (Here we assume that the name is stored in the B2 to B2001 region ).

4. click "format" to bring up the "cell format" dialog box. Under the "font" tab, click the drop-down button on the right of "color" to expand the color palette and select "red "; switch to the "pattern" tab and select a color.

5. After the settings are complete, click "OK" twice to return the result. The data row of the student with the same name is highlighted.

 
If you are not used to this operation, you can set the above format in cell B2. The formula is = COUNTIF (B $2: B $865, B2)> 1, then, use the format to fl the following cells.
