1. Windows 98 Startup Password

In order to reflect the personality, many comrades set the user name and password in the Windows system. After the user name and password are forgotten, we can still enter the operating system, but it will make the user unable to access his/her personal settings. To find the "lost" "personality", open the registry and modify it.

Run "regedit.exe", open registry editor, and find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Network \ Logon branch. Under this branch, there is a "userprofiles" key value, double-click it, and then the original "1" is changed to "0 ". After windows is restarted, a password setting box containing no user name is displayed. You do not need to enter any content and click "OK, the Windows Password is deleted (1 ).

2. Password for hierarchical audit by IE browser

To prevent users from accessing unhealthy or violent content during Internet access, many people prefer to set a password in the "classification review" box on the "content" tab of the "Internet properties" dialog box in IE. In this way, if you want to open a webpage after the set level, enter a password. If the password is incorrect, browsing will stop. Password protection cannot be removed even if you reinstall IE, because the password is already saved in the registry.

First, run the Registry Editor and find the following:

3. view the Windows Shared Password

Setting a Shared Password in a LAN is a common task. If you forget it for a while, you can find its shared password in the registry.

4. view the password of the Windows optimization master.

Windows optimization master is one of our commonly used optimization software. We usually set a password to protect our preset optimization solutions. Without a password, you cannot enable the Windows optimization master to reset it. It is not difficult to view the password setting of Windows optimization master. Open the Registry Editor and find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ wom branch. Then, under the Branch, find the string "pass ", then you will see the key value of this string, which is the password of the Windows optimization master we are looking for (2 ).

5. view the installation key of the Shared Software

When installing the shared software, you must enter the installation key. The following describes the locations of keys of common software in the Registry for future reference.

(1) install the key for Windows

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion] The productid key value is the Windows Installation key (3 ).

The serial number value under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Macromedia \ Flash \ 6 \ Registration] installs the key for flash FX.

(3) Dreamweaver installation key

The serial number key value under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Macromedia \ Dreamweaver \ 4 \ Registration] is the Dreamweaver installation key.

(4) Fireworks installation key

The serial number value under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Macromedia \ fireworks \ 4 \ Registration] is the installation key of fireworks.

(5) Rising upgrade key (ID)

The netid key value under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ rising \ rav] is the upgrade ID of the terminal Star software.
