3. Delivery Package

You can use SDC to manage two types of packages. First, on-demand delivery packages allow you to deliver secure marketplace directories or enforce security policies on existing eclipse-based IDE devices, eclipse-based IDE is externally acquired and installed separately using SDC. The administrator installs the attachment software to the Security Center and delivers the secure Marketplace directory and security policy for the test and endorsement software to the eclipse user.

A secure IDE package allows you to customize and deliver complete eclipse or MyEclipse IDEs, including security policy enforcement, additional software, and other customizations. The administrator installs the MyEclipse or Eclipse IDE software and add-on software obtained from Genuitec to the Security Center, where it can be created, maintained, and delivered to the end user's fully customizable integrated development environment and Security catalog.

An IDE package contains software, plug-ins, and various configuration settings that you want to pay to end users, and you can create different installation packages based on the enterprise needs of your user community. Packages can set access rights, how to update and access software, which plug-ins are included, workstation parameters, and so on. You can have a lot of packages to meet the needs of different teams in your organization.

On-Demand delivery packages allow you to deliver private secure marketplace catalogs or other secure settings to existing eclipse-based devices, and you can now create a variety of on-demand delivery packages based on the needs of the eclipse user community. Packages can set access rights, how to update and access software, which plug-ins are included, workstation parameters, and so on. You can have a lot of packages to meet the needs of different teams in your organization.
