1) Project cost Management Focus:
Project cost management needs to have four aspects, such as cost management plan, cost estimate, cost budget and cost control.
Each link uses the tools and techniques, as well as the input and output of each link.
PV (planned value): The live budget to be done
AC (actual cost): Actual cost
EV (earned value): A live budget for the finished job
CV (Cost deviation): Cv=ev-ac,cv>0 represents the cost balance; Cv<0 represents cost overruns.
SV (Progress Deviation): Sv=ev-pv,sv>0 indicates progress ahead; sv<0 indicates that progress is lagging behind.
CPI (cost performance Index): Cpi=ev/ac,cpi<1 for cost overruns, cpi>1 for cost balances, and high capital use rates.
SPI (Progress Performance Index): Spi=ev/pv,spi<1 indicates a lag in progress, spi>1 indicates progress ahead.
ETC (Remaining Work cost budget, not rectifying) = pv*cpi of Remaining Work
ETC (cost budget of remaining work, rectifying) = Total Pv-ev
2) Project Quality Management Focus:
Develop project Quality management plan, quality assurance, quality control (QC)
The tools and technology of each link and the input and output.
Project quality control includes quality control of product or service, quality control of project management process.
