Server Application Error-Http 500 Error Solution

An error occurred when creating an asp.net website. An http 500 internal server error occurred when accessing the aspx webpage. After some twists and turns, I finally completed the problem. The description is as follows:

Description: The server cannot load the application '/LM/w3svc/1/ROOT/website '. Error: 'No registered category

4. solution:
[1]: Check whether your DTC service (full name: Distributed Transaction Coordinator) can be started normally. If it is normal, skip this step. If an error occurs, it cannot be started normally, run msdtc-resetlog in the Start menu to create a log file. Restart the machine and check whether IIS can be used normally. If not, continue.

[2]: run the following command in CMD:
Cd % windir % \ system32 \ inetsrv
Rundll32 wamreg. dll, CreateIISPackage [Note that CreateIISPackage is case sensitive. If I write S as s, a warning is displayed for the loss of the CreateIIsPackage.]
Regsvr32 asptxn. dll

5. Continue to access the aspx webpage. The error "failed to access the IIS metadatabase" appears.
Solution: open CMD and enter C: \ WINDOWS \ Microsoft. NET \ Framework \ v2.0.50727.
Enter aspnet_regiis.exe-I
Wait a moment and the registration will solve the problem.
