Recently, it has been found that the server, workstation, and Secondary Logon services cannot be started on their own, causing a lot of trouble for my server management. It was fruitless for nearly a week. Try again today. After finding information online, you will receive a prompt: patch update problem. It seems that the server has been running normally at the beginning, and automatic updates have been enabled. Later, I disabled automatic updates on the server. It can be preliminarily determined that the problem is caused by updating a patch. So, enable automatic update again. After the system is updated and restarted, the problem is solved. Therefore, a system patch has fixed the problem. Someone on the Internet said that the kb958644 patch was fixed. I checked and found that the patch was indeed installed. However, due to the large number of new patches, the patch cannot be fixed.
